Abstract

The bicarbonated solution of acetylsalicylic acid has been previously studied for us in master and doctor’s degree studies, when we could verify its anti-tumoral, histolytic and cytolytic effects. This way, as the solution has an evident destruction effect upon normal and tumoral cells and also considering the fact that this disease has a benign neoplasm behavior, we believe that it is reliable to consider the use of the acetylsalicylic bicarbonated acid solution as a new option for local treatment of peritoneal endometrioses developed in an experimental rabbit model. Based on the obtained results, we will be able establish an eventual use of the studied solution in human beings.
