Abstract

The proposal this project is to optimize the preparation technique of substrates used in the synthesis of carbon nanotubes, currently used in ion beam deposition laboratory, DFA, IFGW. The samples will be characterized chemical and structurally to relate the samples physical properties with the preparation conditions. The project is divided in two parts. In the first part will be optimized the TiN films preparation conditions by method Ion Beam Deposition (IBD). In the second part of the project, samples of carbon nanotubes will be prepared by Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) assisted by plasma method.
