Abstract

The analysis of the periodic Excelsior!, published by the Students Union "Vinte e dois de Março" of the Normal School of São Carlos it constitutes object of this study, that it seeks, through the establishment of the cycle of the periodic - of your content and material - to understand the moment and the experiences lived in the ambit of the educational transformations of the years from 1911 to 1939. We intended, through the analysis of the content of the periodic Excelsior!, starting from patterns established in function of the bibliography and of the characteristics of the material in study, together with the rising and analysis of documents, bibliography of the history of the period, elements of the great press, memoirs, biographies and other elements accuse that supply data about the time and the conditions of production of the Excelsior!. In the end of the work, we will make the cataloguing of the periodic in thematic, which will be converted in a digital file for a database and production of a CD-ROM.
