Abstract

Recently, the nanotechnology and the nanoceramics have been considered one of the most important area of research, as for physic as chemistry and engineering. The morphology and particle size influence the electrical and optical properties of the nanoceramics. For this, it is necessary to consider the parameters involved in the processing of the nanoceramics materials. The objective of this project is to obtain semiconductor oxides nanoparticles (SnO2:F e SnO2:Sb2O5) with control of the size to be used to prepare nanostructured films. The precursor polymeric method will be utilized to obtain powders with size well defined. The nanoparticles will be characterized by X ray diffraction and transmission electronic microscopy aiming to verify phase formation, grain size and morphology. Then, it will be done a study to determine the better conditions for obtaining nanoparticles stable suspensions in alcohol. Nanostructured films will be prepared on glass substrates from these suspensions by spin coating. The films will be characterized by MEV and AFM to analyze their microstructure and by resistive and transmittance measurements.
