Abstract

The organizational competitive intelligence process (OCI) in private organizations occurs from different information activities. Among the information activities that are part of the process of OCI, the scanning and the minning information are basic activities of the process. That activity depends essentially of technologies of information and communication for will be efficient. Needs-itself, therefore, identify, verify and characterize the technologies of information and communication applied in the process of OCI in the industries of the Marília city. To objective research a diagnosis of the productive sector of that region, more specifically in the food industries. Intends also, stand out to important action of the information professional in the performance of those information activities. (AU)
