Abstract

This dissertation analyzes the development of the mode of address in the creative process of MÚTUO, a show created for this research that involves dance and circus. The concept of mode of address, originally from the cinema, is investigated in the context of performing arts. It talks about how the relationship with the public is built through the choices made in the creative process, permeated by the context in which they are immersed. The ways in which the mode of address approaches dramaturgies in dance and circus was investigated, since they are arts present in the show MÚTUO, and also the modes of artistic management, production and creation experienced in this creative process and fundamental for the analysis. The criteria for the analysis were built from the contact of theoretical research with creative practice, and the information for the analysis was obtained through the creation diary and reports from rehearsal open to the public. It is noticed that the mode of address is closely linked to dramaturgy, which is understood as what is appreciated at the time of the scenic event and also for what builds the imaginary around the show, going beyond what the creative artists can choose (AU)
