Full Professor of the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas. Visiting Scholar at Teachers College of Columbia University. Research Productivity Scholarship from CNPq. Member of the permanent group of the Education Post-graduate Program. He was a Visiting Scholar at the Shanghai Jiao Ton University, China, in 2014. Leader of the Philosophy, Education and Sustainability (PhiloEduS/CNPq), working on Public Policy in Education research and member of the research group Direito e Realidade Social (CNPq / PUC Campinas), working on Human Rights and Public Policies research. He was professor of Philosophy in Basic Education, Elementary School and High School, in the public and private networks, for 5 years. He participated in academic events with presentation of papers or lectures in different countries, such as the United States of America, China, Ethiopia, Czech Republic, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Peru and Mexico. He is the President of Sociedade Brasileira de Filosofia da Educação (2018-2020), member of ABRADE - Associação Brasileira de Direito Educacional and participant of several international societies: North American Nietzsche Society, PES - Philosophy of Education Society, INPE - International Network of Philosophers of Education, ALFE - Latin American Association of Philosophy of Education.
