She has Bachelor's degree in Nutrition from University of São Paulo, Brazil (2002), Master's degree (2005) and Doctorate (2009) in Biochemical and Pharmaceutical Technology from University of São Paulo, Brazil. During 2009-2012 she was Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Embrapa Goats and Sheep, Brazil. Since 2012 she is Professor of Food Science at State University of Paraíba, Brazil. She has experience in Human Nutrition and Food Science, acting on the following subjects: food analysis, food product development, dairy technology, functional foods, probiotics, prebiotics, dietary fibre ingredients, alternative ingredients, by-product upgrading and valorisation of Brazilian native biodiversity for food technology.
