Bachelor of Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora , Master in Physiology from the Institute of Biosciences of the University of São Paulo, USP-SP. PhD in Sciences (Human Physiology) by the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo (ICB - USP) and developed part of her project at the Swammerdam Institute for Life Sciences (SILS) at the University of Amsterdam (UVA-Netherlands). PhD in Sciences with emphasis on Neuroscience from the University of Amsterdam (UVA-Netherlands). Current Research topics: Adult neurogenesis stem cells in relation to; (early life) stress exposure, anoxia, cognition. Learning and memory, neurodevelopment, physical activity, melatonin, biological rhythms, and melanin concentrating hormone. He is currently a professor at the School of Health Sciences at Anhembi Morumbi University and postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo (ICB - USP) (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
