Graduated in Biomedical Sciences with specialization in Medical Genetics and Genetic Counseling, with a Master's, PhD, and Postdoctoral degree from the Universidade Federal de São Paulo. Currently a Senior Researcher in the Postgraduate Program in Health Sciences at the Faculdade de Medicina do ABC, Professor of Genetics, and a member of the Comprehensive Care Group for Rare Diseases. She is also a Geneticist at the Instituto Ideia Fértil Center for Human Reproduction and Genetics at the Faculdade de Medicina do ABC, where she is responsible for genetic counseling. Additionally, she serves as a Visiting Researcher at the Instituto Israelita de Ensino e Pesquisa Albert Einstein, and is a collaborating professor at the IBMEC group. She holds the position of Associate Editor in the Basic Research section of several prestigious journals, including Einstein (São Paulo), Human Reproduction Archives, Frontiers in Reproductive Health, Frontiers in Endocrinology, and the Italian Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics. She is also a member of the Global Burden of Disease Collaborator Network.With more than 176 published papers and over 2,500 citations in the Web of Science (H-index = 26), she has been invited to speak at numerous national and international scientific events. She has received 19 research grants from FAPESP as a principal investigator. Her expertise spans Human and Medical Genetics, Human Cytogenetics, Molecular Biology, Sexual and Reproductive Health, and Urological cancers. She works primarily in the fields of Human Genetics, Assisted Reproductive Technologies, Infertility, Preimplantation Genetic Testing, Endometriosis, Genetic Counseling, Rare Diseases, and Prostate Cancer Biomarkers.
