He holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1989), a Master's degree in Nuclear Technology from the University of São Paulo (1992) and a PhD in Nuclear Technology from the University of São Paulo (1997). He is currently a senior researcher at the Institute for Energy and Nuclear Research (National Nuclear Energy Commission), and teaches a postgraduate course offered at the University of São Paulo. He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Nuclear Physics, with an emphasis on Gamma Spectroscopy and Particle Acceleration in Medium-sized Accelerators, for studies of super-deformed nuclei. From 1997 onwards, he also began working in the areas of Geosciences and Environmental Sciences, with an emphasis on laser environmental applications, with emphasis on remote sensing of aerosols, greenhouse gases and resonant cavity spectroscopy, with applications in air pollution, agriculture, rejects. In the area of #8203;#8203;innovation, he has worked on identifying and monitoring super greenhouse gas emitting sites and implementing calibration solutions. He has academic experience as Coordinator of the Postgraduate Course in Nuclear Technology and participated in the Environmental Sciences Advisory Committee. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
