Currently, is an Associate Professor at the University of São Paulo (Ribeirão Preto). Has experience in Ophthalmology, with a focus on the following areas: cataract and intraocular lens implantation, corneal transplantation, neuro-ophthalmology, and visual electrophysiology. The objective of this study is to determine what the main concerns of patients would be in the moments that precede cataract surgery by programmed phacoemulsification with topical anaesthesia.
