Post-doctoral training at the Quebec Institute of Cardiology and Pneumology, Quebec, Canada, under mentorship of Dr Yves Deshaies (2005-2009). Visiting Scientist at the laboratory of Dr David Sabatini at the Whitehead Institute For Biomedical Research associated to the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), Cambridge, USA (2009-2010). Currrently, works as a Associated Professor at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of São Paulo and head of the Rodent Metabolic Phenotyping Center (RPMC).
