Humberto Breves Coda

Bachelor in Civil Engineering at São Carlos Federal University (1986), M.Sc in Structural Engineering at São Paulo University (1990), Doctor in Structural Engineering at São Paulo University (1993). Pos-doc at Wessex Institute of technology UK (1997-1998) and at Cambridge University Engineering Department UK (2006-2007). Current position: Full Professor at Structural Engineering Department at São Carlos School of Engineering of São Paulo University. Research field: FEM, BEM, geometrical and physical non linearity and dynamics. Interests: Crash, foldable structures, large deformed materials, biomechanics, structural stability, multiscale models, sliding connections applied to civil structures and mechanisms. Participates in the Engineering Coordination at FAPESP and has been the post-graduation coordinator at Structural Department of EESC-USP from 04/2015 to 04/2019. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
