Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (1994), Master in Public Health from the Faculty of Medicine of Botucatu-UNESP (2004) and PhD in Public Health, with a concentration in Epidemiology from the Faculty of Medical Sciences-UNICAMP (2007). Post-doctorate in Health and Work from the University of Huelva, Spain (2018) and in Biostatistics from the University of Seville (2019 and 2024), Full Professor in Epidemiology from the São Paulo State University Julio de Mesquita Filho (2022) - https://repositorio.unesp.br/items/c8feac1b-7d44-4644-af70-585f6df5c2d1. He was Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Public Health at the Botucatu School of Medicine from 2014 to 2021. He advises undergraduate, master's, doctoral, and postdoctoral students in the Graduate Program in Public Health. He is an Associate Professor and currently Head of the Department of Public Health. He consults for funding agencies and serves as a reviewer for national and international journals. He is a member of the International Epidemiology Association with experience in Public Health and Public Health, with an emphasis on Epidemiology, focusing on the following areas: Epidemiology, Primary Care, Women's Health, and Occupational Health.
