Rogerio Lerner holds a master's and doctorate in Psychology from Institute of Psychology at the University of São Paulo. In 2005, he entered the competition as a professor at this institution and, since 2006, he has been a thesis advisor there. He completed the Post-Doctorate fellowship at the University Pierre et Marie Curie - Paris 6 - in 2009. Since 2011, when he obtained the title of Livre-Docente in Psychology, he is an Associate Professor at IPUSP and a Fellow at the College of Research Training Program - University College London / International Psychoanalytical Association. Since 2019, he is also a subsidiary professor at the Department. of Psychiatry at the Medical School of USP.His work is in the areas of Developmental Psychology, Psychoanalysis, parenting and psychic constitution. He has been engaged in the production and dissemination of evidence on a group scale and statistical treatment of data from works with Psychoanalysis and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.He has published books, book chapters and articles in national and international journals. Participates regularly in scientific events in Brazil and abroad. He has been coordinating and participating as a member of several national and international research and academic exchange agreements. He is charge of research funds from national and international agencies. He is also a member of the Scientific Committee of the Science for Childhood Center (INSPER / FMCSV / HARVARD), member of the Scientific Committee of the International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA), Faculty member and co-chair of the Research Training Programme and Joseph Sandler Psychoanalytic Research Conference - IPA, principal researcher at the Brazilian Center for Early Childhood Development (FAPESP 2019 / 12553-0), ex-member of the Scientific Committee of the Latin American Psychoanalytic Federation (FEPAL). He is an Associate Editor of Revista Psicologia USP, member of the editorial board of the Psychoanalytic Quarterly and a former member of the Editorial Board of USP's Revista Estilo da Clínica.He won the following monographic awards: in 2012 - Community and Culture Award from the Psychoanalytic Federation of Latin America; in 2013 - Third place in the Cesar Ades Award from the Federal Council of Psychology; in 2019 - IPA Psychoanalytic Research Exceptional Contribution Awards.
