Graduate at Veterinary Medicine of University of Sao Paulo (1975), master's degree in Veterinary Clinical Pathology at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1979) and phD in Experimental and Comparative Pathology at University of Sao Paulo (1985). Has made post doc in Hannover Veterinary School - Germany (1988) in Bovine Obstetrics and Ginecology, enfatized in Neonatology. Nowadays, is teaching at University of Sao Paulo as Titular Professor, "ad hoc" consultor of FAPESP (The State of São Paulo Research Foundation) and CNPq (The National Council for Scientific and Technological Development), invited professor of University of Goiás (UFG) and University of Bahia (UFBa), colaborating teacher at School of Veterinary and Zootechny - Botucatu (UNESP), and scientific assessor at University of Londrina (UEL). Experience in Animal Clinical Pathology, and Internal Medicine of Bovines and Small Ruminants, duties basically on: haematologic and biochemistry standard values, veterinary neonatology, endotoxemia, experimental diarrhea in calf, failure of passive imunoglobulin transfer, clinical imunology, PPD skin-test in small ruminants, tuberculosis, caseous linfadenitis, papilomatosis, and bovine leukosis virus.
