Holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), obtained in 1993. Completed a Master's degree in Physics in 1996 and earned a Ph.D. from the same institution in 2002. From 2003 to 2006, conducted postdoctoral research at the ultraviolet and soft X-ray beamlines of the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS). From 2007 to 2009, pursued a second postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Chemistry at UFSCar. Between 2010 and 2012, served as an Assistant Professor at the Center for Physical and Mathematical Sciences of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). Currently, he is a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at UFSCar, working in the area of Physical Chemistry, with emphasis on electron scattering, electronic spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry.
