Cassio Xavier de Mendonça Junior

Graduated at the School of Veterinary Medicine from the University of São Paulo (1965), master degree at the School of Veterinary Medicine from the University of São Paulo (1970) and PhD at the School of Veterinary Medicine from the Universidade of São Paulo (1972). Pos Doctoral at the Department of Poultry Science of The University of Georgia College of Agriculture-Georgia, USA (1981/82 and 1987/89). Has experience in Animal Nutrition, Metabolic and Nutritional Diseases with special enphasis in: Egg quality improvement (n-3 polyunsuturates fatty acid, vitamins A and E, etc) , egg cholesterol reduction, mineral and vitamin defficiencies in chicks, amino acids requirements for broiler. During the period from 2003 to 2007 was elected Dean of the School of Veterinary Medicine from the University of São Paulo. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
