Full Professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo, CNPq Researcher 1A, leader of the Laboratory of Inflammation and Immunology of Parasitoses, Head of the Department of Clinical, Toxicological and Bromatological Analysis and member of the CTA of FCFRP-USP from 2018 to 2022. Full Member of the FCFRP-USP Congregation, since 2008. Named by the Open BOX da Ciência platform (Instituto Serrapilheria/CNPq), as one of the 50 main researchers of the moment in the area of #8203;#8203;Biological Sciences. Treasurer of the Brazilian Society of Immunology between 2009 and 2011. She was a member of the Steering Committee of the Basic and Applied Immunology Program at FMRP-USP, from 2008 to 2014. She coordinated a FAPESP Thematic Project entitled: New Functional Aspects of Eicosanoids (Process no. 2014/07125-6), valid from 2014 to 2021. CNPq Project Coordinator. She has experience in Immunology, with an emphasis on the study of the inflammatory response and the role of lipid mediators in infections and envenomations by venoms. She coordinated a FAPESP project with SARS-CoV-2, to search for biomarkers and the role of lipid mediators (Process 2020/05207-6). In addition, she works with the investigation of natural products with anti-inflammatory activity and new pharmaceutical formulations focusing on controlled release systems. More recently, she developed a platform at FCFRP-USP (CEQIL) for the identification and quantification of lipids, being a pioneer in this area at the Ribeirão Preto Campus. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Heart and Lung Institute of the University of London, and has had/has partnerships with the University of Michigan, United States, the Transgenomics Institute of the CNRS, Orleans, France, the University of Freiburg, Germany, and the University of Valladolid, Spain, in addition to several national and international collaborations. She supervises master's and doctoral students in the postgraduate programs in Basic and Applied Immunology (FMRP-USP) and in Biosciences and Biotechnology Applied to Pharmacy (FCFRP-USP). She was President of the Vivarium Committee of FCFRP-USP between 2002 and 2014; He was a member of the Human Research Ethics Committee, the Animal Research Ethics Committee and the USP Network of Bioteriums, of the Research Committee between 2010 and 2017; of the International Relations Committee, between 2010 and 2018. He coordinates the Flow Cytometry Center of FCFRP-USP and the Lipid Quantification and Identification Center - CEQIL (equipment provided by FAPESP as multi-user equipment-EMU-2015/00658-1; 2023/17113-4). Member of the Brazilian Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the Society of Toxinology, and the Brazilian Society of Immunology. He has publications in impactful journals in the areas of Immunology, Parasitology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Natural Products, Lipid Mediators, and others. Organized the 5th CIFARP in 2005, the XXXIII Brazilian Congress of Immunology in 2008, the XXXVI Brazilian Congress of Immunology in 2011 and the 11th CIFARP in 2017, as well as regional scientific meetings in Ribeirão Preto. President of the Organizing Committee of the 15th CIFARP-2025, an event organized by the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto (FCFRP-USP) and the Brazilian Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences (ABCF). Winner of the CAPES Thesis Grand Prize, Biological Sciences III, 2021. Honorable mention CAPES thesis 2022. Member of the Latin American Academy of Sciences-ACAL.
