John Bernhard Kleba is a full professor at the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica, where he teaches in the area of #8203;#8203;Social Sciences and coordinates LabCTS - Laboratory of Citizenship and Social Technologies (https://www.labcts.org/). Prof. Kleba holds a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Bielefeld, Germany - CAPES (2000), and a Post-Doctorate in Socio-Legal Studies - CNPq (2011) and in Studies of Moral Philosophy and Political Science - FAPESP (2014), both at the University of Warwick, England. Prof. Kleba was a DFG collaborating researcher at the University of Bremen, Germany (2000-2004). The researcher has organized international conferences (São Paulo and Coventry, England) and conducted several research projects funded by Brazilian and German funding agencies. The professor participates in national, Latin American and international research networks and has institutional activity in #8203;#8203;Extension at ITA. At LabCTS, he leads an interinstitutional team that has innovated methodologically in teaching and extension and engaged hundreds of students in projects in partnership with social actors. Among his recent publications, co-organizing the three volumes (trilingual) of "Engineering and Other Engaged Technical Practices" with authors from several countries stands out. His research lines include Social Studies of Science and Technology (STS), Citizenship and Engaged Technologies, and Engineering Education. https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7978-3527.
