The researcher is an Associate Professor at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), Diadema campus, where he holds a full-time position. He serves as an ad hoc reviewer for funding agencies such as CNPq, FAPESP, and FINEP, and is a member of the Brazilian Society for Materials Research (SBPMat) and the Brazilian Association of Metallurgy, Materials and Mining (ABM). He is affiliated with CIM-EMBRAPII and coordinates the Multiuser Center for Materials and Mechanical Manufacturing (N4M), as well as leading the Laboratory of Materials and Mechanical Manufacturing (L3M). He has led research projects funded by FAPESP and CNPq, and has participated in collaborative initiatives with EMBRAPII. His scientific output includes publications in national and international journals, in addition to co-authoring book chapters and a technical book. The professor has contributed to award-winning research and maintains active collaborations with researchers both in Brazil and internationally. He also has extensive experience in academic and administrative leadership, having served on undergraduate and graduate program boards and committees at UNIFESP, and coordinated a graduate program. He is a CNPq productivity research fellow and currently leads a research group focused on phase transformations in metallic alloys, with particular emphasis on copper-based systems. His work encompasses topics such as phase diagrams, solid-state reaction kinetics, and the characterization of metallic materials. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
