Graduated in Biological Sciences by UNICAMP in 1975. Master in Biology (Immunology) by UNICAMP, in 1980. PhD in Sciences (Immunology) by UNICAMP, in 1988. Post-doctorate in Pharmacology by the University of São Paulo (USP / RP), with grants from CNPq, in 1989 and 1991. Postdoctoral fellow at Genentech Inc., San Francisco, CA, with a fellowship from FAPESP, in 1990. Experience in researching the following subjects: Chagas' disease, innate immunity, oral tolerance, experimental arthritis and colitis, monoclonal antibodies. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
