Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo (FMRP/USP), in the Department of Cellular and Molecular Biology and Pathogenic Bioagents. She holds a degree in Pharmacy-Biochemistry from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto - USP (FCFRP) (2006), a master's degree (2009) and a doctorate (2013) in Sciences from FCFRP. She completed a postdoctoral internship in the Genetics Department of FMRP (2013-2017) and at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, USA (2017-2019). She was a Level II Researcher in the Neurosurgery Department of Henry Ford Hospital and a FAPESP Young Researcher at FCFRP from 2019 to 2024. She was one of the 2022 laureates of the "For women in science" award, an initiative by L'Oreal in partnership with the Brazilian Academy of Sciences and UNESCO. She is currently a Research Productivity Scholar - PQ - 1D and accredited as a professor in the Clinical Oncology, Stem Cells and Cell Therapy Program at FMRP and in the Biosciences and Biotechnology Program at FCFRP. She coordinates the Cancer Epigenomics Laboratory. She has experience in the areas of Cellular and Molecular Biology, Epigenetics, Stem Cells, Oncology and Computational Biology.
