Associate Researcher at the Department of Radiotherapy and Leader of the Radiobiology: Cellular Communication and Cellular and Molecular Biology Applied to Radiotherapy research group. Permanent Faculty Member of the Graduate Program at Barretos Cancer Hospital. Holds a degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at São Paulo State University (UNESP, 2007), a Master's in Organic Chemistry of Natural Products from the Institute of Chemistry at UNESP Araraquara (2009), and a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the Institute of Physics at the University of São Carlos (USP, 2014). She completed her postdoctoral training in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Laboratory at the Federal University of São Carlos (2015-2019), with a sandwich period at the Weaver Laboratory, Vanderbilt University, USA (2017-2018).Currently, she also serves as Coordinator of the Ethics and Research Committee and Director of the Scientific Committee at the Department of Radiotherapy. She has been a member of the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles since 2018. As a CAPES scholarship holder, she participated in the internationalization program at the Federal University of São Carlos (PrInt - UFSCar), where she created the graduate course Fluorescence Techniques as an Advanced Tool in Biological Sciences: From Genetic Engineering to Drug Discovery and the extension course How to Transform Your Images into High-Impact Figures.Her expertise spans radiobiology, translational radiotherapy, and clinical trials, with a strong focus on human cell culture, development of new antitumor therapies, and the isolation, characterization, and in vitro study of extracellular vesicles from cells and plasma. She is also skilled in recombinant protein production, conventional fluorescence microscopy, high-content screening, confocal and super-resolution microscopy, and image analysis.
