Trícia holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Lavras, which she earned in 2002. She completed her master's degree in Animal Pathology in 2004. She obtained her doctorate in Preventive Veterinary Medicine in 2008 from the School of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences at the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (Unesp, Jaboticabal). Currently, she serves as an associate professor at the University of São Paulo, specializing in Veterinary Medicine with a focus on the epidemiology, diagnosis, and control of parasitic diseases.
