He graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Uberlândia in 2002, subsequently obtaining a masters degree in 2004 and a Ph.D. in Genetics from the same institution in 2008. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Biotechnology at the Instituto de Investigación en Recursos Cinegéticos (IREC) of the Universidad de Castilla-la Mancha, Spain, in 2009, and at the Department of Preventive Veterinary Medicine and Animal Health at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science of the University of São Paulo in 2012. He completed an MBA in Health Innovation Management at the Butantan Institute in 2016. Currently, he is a Scientific Researcher VI at the Immunology Center of the Adolfo Lutz Institute in São Paulo, where he coordinates the Immunotechnology Laboratory. He is also a Principal Investigator for FAPESP at the Center for Translational Science and Biopharmaceutical Development (CTS). He serves as an advisor in the Interunits Graduate Program in Biotechnology (USP, IPT, and IB) and in the Graduate Program in Clinical Research (FMB/CEVAP/Unesp). He has extensive experience in coordinating research and innovation projects, supported by major national funding agencies such as FAPESP, CNPq, CAPES, and FINEP.
