Currently undertaking a postdoctoral research position at the Instituto Mixto Universitario Deporte y Salud (IMUDS) of the University of Granada, Spain, as a fellow of the prestigious Juan de la Cierva program, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. Holds a PhD in Movement Sciences (inter-unit program) from São Paulo State University (UNESP-FCT), supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), with a visiting research period at the Childrens Health and Exercise Research Centre (CHERC), School of Sport and Health Sciences, University of Exeter, UK. Holds a Masters degree in Physiotherapy from UNESP, Presidente Prudente campus, funded by FAPESP, with a visiting research period at the Faculty of Sport Sciences and Physical Education of the University of Coimbra, Portugal. Holds a Bachelors degree in Physical Education from UNESP, Presidente Prudente campus, where he developed undergraduate research projects funded by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and FAPESP. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Education at UNESP/FCT. Lead researcher of the Scientific Research Group on Physical Activity (GICRAF). Member of the Editorial Board of Pediatric Exercise Science (ISSN: 1543-2920), Journal of Bone Metabolism (ISSN: 2287-6375), and BMC Pediatrics (ISSN: 1471-2431). Lastly, he is a member of the South American Physical Activity and Sedentary Behavior Network (SAPASEN). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
