Currently is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of São Paulo (USP) and studies the applicability of Monte Carlo simulations on the phase equilibrium of fatty compounds and liquid solvents. Obtained his bachelor?s degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Caxias do Sul (UCS) (2012), and his master (2015) and doctor's (2018) degrees in Chemical Engineering at the University of Campinas. Has experience in the liquid-liquid extraction process, solvent selection, thermodynamic modelling of phase equilibrium and vegetable oils refining. Has also knowledge in the biofuels field with focus on the production process of biodiesel by homogeneous basic catalysis of vegetable oils, and in the process of pyrolysis, gasification and hydrolizes of biomasses.
