Graduated in Physics from the University of Buenos Aires in 1973, she has a PhD - Physics from the University of Delaware (1980). She did postdoctoral work at the Institute of Energy Conversion at the University of Delaware between 1981-1982. Currently is a full professor at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, where he founded and leads to this day, the New Materials and Devices Group, where he coordinates research involving the obtaining and properties of New Dielectric and Semiconductor Materials obtained by PECVD and "Sputtering" and for the development of semiconductor devices, such as MOS and Thin Film capacitors and transistors (TFT's). She was General Coordinator of the Microelectronics Laboratory (LME) at the USP Polytechnic School between 2008 and until 2021. Between 2003 and 2011 she was also Head and Deputy Head of the Electronic Systems Engineering Department at EPUSP (Head between 2003 and 2027 and Deputy Head between 2007 and 2011).
