Vitor Souza Lima Blotta

Professor of the Department of Journalism and Publishing at the School of Communication and Arts of the University of São Paulo. Coordinates the research group Journalism, Law and Freedom (ECA/IEA-USP). Associate Researcher and Vice-Coordinator of the Center for the Study of Violence of the University of São Paulo (NEV-USP). Former President of the National Association for Human Rights - Research and Post-Graduation (ANDHEP) (2016-2018). Vitor Blotta has obtained his Masters and PhD in Law from the Department of Philosophy and General Theory of Law at the University of São Paulo Law School, and works especially with Legal Theory, Political Theory and Communication, discussing themes such as human rights, democracy, public sphere, media and communication policies, violence and citizenship security.
