Bachelor in Chemistry from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar, Brazil), with an exchange period at Indiana University (IU, USA), and Ph.D. in Sciences with an emphasis in Physical Chemistry also from UFSCar, including a research internship at the Aveiro Institute of Materials (CICECO, Portugal). Completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Embrapa Instrumentation (Brazil) and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM, Brazil), teaching courses in physical chemistry. Has experience in the synthesis of ceramic nanoparticles for photocatalytic applications, as well as in the production of synthetic polymers and the modification of natural polymers for biomedical and agricultural applications.
