Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Biociências (IB)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

I hold a degree in Biological Sciences, with a teaching credential (2012) and a bachelors degree (2014) from São Paulo State University (UNESP), Botucatu campus. During my undergraduate studies at UNESP, I conducted scientific research focused on the taxonomy of crickets and participated for over two years in the outreach project Arthropods: Life and Environment. I completed my masters degree in the graduate program in Biological Sciences (Zoology) at the Institute of Biosciences, University of São Paulo (IBUSP), where I developed taxonomic and phylogenetic studies on Orthoptera, including a research internship at the Muséum national dHistoire naturelle (MNHN) in Paris, France (2016). During my PhD in the same program, I expanded my studies to address evolutionary, phylogenetic, and taxonomic questions concerning crickets, including another research stay at MNHN between 2019 and 2020. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Genetics and Evolutionary Biology at IBUSP. My main research interests involve the evolution, biogeography, diversification patterns, and classification of Grylloidea, with experience in both morphology and molecular data, as well as taxonomic work on extant and fossil groups. I also have experience in the digitization of entomological collections. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
