Graduate at Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto from Universidade de São Paulo (1988), master's in Biochemistry at Universidade de São Paulo (1992) and Ph.D. in Biochemistry at Universidade de São Paulo (1995) and Post-Doctoral at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagin (1999) . Currently, he is a Full Professor in a Department of Clinical, Toxicological and Bromatological Analysis from Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto and fellow from National Research Council for Development and Technology (CNPq). He has experience in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, focusing on Metabolism and Bioenergetics, acting on the following subjects: (1) Mitochondrial alternative pathways in fungus, (2) Calcium moviment studies in fungus and (3) Heterologous expression of proteins in yeasts.
