He has a degree (2019) in Biological Sciences (Licenciatura) from the State University of Campinas, a master's degree (2021) and a doctorate (2025) from the same institution. He was an executive zoologist in the Biodiversity group and a member of the eDNA group within the Brazilian Team, which placed third in the XPrize Rainforest international competition. Expertise in taxonomy and systematics of neglected taxa, especially aquatic microinvertebrates such as Gastrotricha and other meiofaunal groups. Focus on the use of sophisticated morphological methods such as Scanning Electron Microscopy and Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy, integrated with molecular identification and phylogenetic analyses.
