Holds a Bachelors degree in Animal Science from São Paulo State University (UNESP, 20082014) and a Bachelors degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Centro Universitário de Jaguariúna (UniFAJ, 20152018). Obtained a Masters degree in Functional and Molecular Biology, with an emphasis on Physiology, from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP, 20192021), where investigated the effects of tauroursodeoxycholic acid (TUDCA) on hepatic metabolism and lipid accumulation.Earned a PhD in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Diabetes Research Laboratory (UCDR) of the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), Belgium, with research focused on the role of RNA epigenetic modification (m#8310;A) in the amplification and fitness of the diabetogenic Coxsackievirus B1 in human pancreatic beta cells.Currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Genetics, Microbiology and Immunology at the Institute of Biology, University of Campinas (UNICAMP), investigating the effects of emerging arboviral infections on human pancreatic beta cells.
