As a neuroscientist specializing in mesial temporal lobe epilepsy associated with hippocampal sclerosis, my research leverages advanced molecular biology techniques to explore the underlying mechanisms of this condition. With expertise in epigenetics, particularly DNA methylation and chromatin accessibility, I utilize cutting-edge technologies such as 10X Genomics to decode complex neural processes. I have hands-on experience preparing and interpreting sequencing experiments, including Chromium Single-Cell Multiome ATAC and single-cell RNA sequencing. My ongoing work in spatial transcriptomics further enhances our understanding of brain tissue dynamics at a granular level.
