Full Licentiate (2005) and Bachelor's degree (2006) in Biological Sciences from the University of Grande ABC - Uni ABC. In 2007, joined the Experimental Psychology Laboratory of the Psychology Institute of the University of São Paulo (USP) as a technical collaborator (FAPESP fellowship), developing a project on mercury poisoning in the visual system. In 2008, joined the Masters program in Neuroscience and Behavior, continuing the mercurial intoxication project, working in the area of morphology, obtaining the title of M.Sc. in Neuroscience and Behavior by the Psychology Institute of USP in 2011 (FAPESP/CAPES fellowship). In the same year, joined the doctoral program, working with electrophysiology and morphology, evaluating the intravitreal administration of drugs in the treatment of experimental uveitis in rabbits, obtaining the title of Ph.D. in Neuroscience and Behavior in 2016 (CAPES fellowship). After the PhD, from 2016 to 2018, had a FAPESP fellowship - technical training, in ocular electrophysiology and retinal immunohistochemistry. In 2019, started a postdoctoral in the Department of Experimental Psychology at IPUSP, with a FAPESP fellowship until August 2022, continuing in the program without a fellowship. Currently developing a postdoctoral project at the Institute of Neurosciences at the University of Paris-Saclay, in France, evaluating different animal models for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) with electroretinogram, retinal morphology and behavior, besides working on the development and evaluation of new gene therapies for DMD.
