Sara Adrian Lopez de Andrade

She holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU, Spain) and Masters and PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP, Brazil). She is currently a professor at the UNICAMP and has as main research area the physiology of plants associated with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, with special interest in aspects that involve the contribution of mycorrhiza, and other symbioses, in the mineral nutrition of plants and the attenuation to abiotic stresses such as those caused by the excess of potentially toxic elements, phosphorus deficiency or water deficit, among others.
