Associate Professor at the Institute of Mathematical and Computer Sciences of the University of São Paulo (ICMC / USP) and Associate Professor at the same institution. He holds a Doctorate and Master's degree in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a degree in Computer Science from Paulista State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP). His research lines include: Dynamic Provisioning of Computing Resources in Distributed Systems, with emphasis on applications in the context of: Internet of Things, Smart Cities and Smart Building, Cloud Computing, Virtualization, Micro Services and SOA. It also develops research focused on optimizing communication of distributed applications and high performance processing, as well as the strategic use of AI, machine learning (ML) and machine calculation (MR) technologies across IT operations to simplify and streamline processes and improve the use of IT resources, known broadly as IAOps.
