He holds a degree in Food Technology from the State University of Pará (UEPA, 2016), a master's degree in Food Science from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC, 2019), and a Ph.D. in Food Science from the School of Food Engineering at the University of Campinas (FEA/UNICAMP, 2023). He conducted international research internships at the University of Zaragoza, Spain (2021/2022), and at Iowa State University, United States (2022/2023). He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Packaging Technology Center of the Institute of Food Technology (CETEA/ITAL, 2023/2025). He is currently a faculty member from the School of Agronomy Eliseu Maciel, Federal University of Pelotas (FAEM/UFPel). His research is focused on Food Science and Technology, with an emphasis on food analysis, food chemistry, and analytical chemistry. His main research interests include the development and validation of analytical methods and instrumental analyses (liquid chromatography, gas chromatography, and mass spectrometry) for applications in foods and food simulants. Additionally, sample preparation techniques employing polymeric ionic liquids and magnetic ionic liquids are part of his research focus.
