Birthplace: Brazil

Postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Marine Sciences of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR-ISMAR; 2024-present) and associate postdoctoral fellow at the Oceanographic Institute of the University of São Paulo since 2021, both a FAPESP grant. PhD in Geosciences from the Institute for Geophysics of the University of Texas at Austin (2015-2020). Bachelor's degree in Geology from the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (2014), with a visiting period at Baylor and Stanford Universities (2013). He was an Adjunct Professor at UNIFESP (IMAR) in 2024. He works in the areas of Marine Geology and Geophysics, with a focus on energy transition and paleoceanography. In his studies, he uses geophysical (seismic and magnetometry) and sediment data (petrophysics, geochemistry and cyclostratigraphy) to map the subsurface and reconstruct the paleoevolution of continental margins. He has participated in scientific expeditions in Brazil (IO-USP and Brazilian Navy; 2021 - current), in Italy (CNR - 2024) and in Australia (IODP-369; 2017). His articles have been published in international journals such as Marine Geology, Basin Research, Global and Planetary Change, Paleoceanography and Paleoclimatology, among others.
