Doutoranda pelo Departamento de Fisiopatologia Experimental da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (FMUSP), com período sanduíche na Universidade de Toronto no Canadá. Mestre em Biologia Celular e Tecidual pelo ICB-USP e Graduada em Ciências Biológicas pela UMESP. Estuda o papel da proteína TDP-43 no envelhecimento humano. Conduz seu projeto no Banco de Encéfalos Humanos do Grupo de Estudos em Envelhecimento Cerebral da Faculdade de Medicina da USP (GEEC-FMUSP), onde também coordena a equipe de processamento encefálico.
