She holds a degree in Nursing from Uniararas (1987), a specialization in Dermatology Nursing (2021), a master's degree in Pharmacology from the State University of Campinas (1995), a PhD in Functional and Molecular Biology from the same university (2000), and a postdoctoral fellowship at the ICB of USP/SP (2003). She is the Vice Director of the School of Nursing (2023-2026) and a member of the Fiscal Committee of the Foundation for the Development of Unicamp (Funcamp) from 2019 to 2022. She served as a member of the Executive Committee of Faepex between 2017 and 2019. Currently, she is an Associate Professor at FEnf and a full member MS-5 in the Congregation of the Unit (2019-2021). She was a full member of the Central Research Committee of Unicamp from 2015 to 2020 and coordinator of the Graduate Program at the School of Nursing from 2020 to 2022. Previously, she served as Vice Director of the School of Nursing (2015-2018).She is a Guest Associate Editor and Review Editor for the journal Frontiers in Clinical Diabetes and Healthcare (2019-2022), as well as a Guest Associate Editor and Review Editor for the journal Polymers (2024-2025), and a reviewer for eight international journals. In 2016, she participated in research activities as a visiting professor at the University of Nottingham, funded by CAPES_Print. In 2019, she was a visiting professor at Cardiff University, funded by Faepex-Unicamp. She collaborates nationally (with the School of Nursing at the Federal University of Fluminense, the University of Juiz de Fora, and the Federal University of Lavras) and internationally (with the Department of Chemical Engineering at KU Leuven, Belgium, the School of Health Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Nottingham, and the Faculty of Nursing at Universidad Andrés Bello, Chile), developing projects that evaluate the healing process, diabetes mellitus, artificial intelligence, and products that act on tissue repair.She is the lead researcher of the research group "Molecular Mechanisms of Wound Healing," registered with the CNPq. She has experience in the field of nursing, with an emphasis on patient care for diabetes mellitus, primarily focusing on the following topics: diabetes mellitus, nursing care for patients with DM, complications in diabetic foot, and investigation of the wound healing process. She is a Diabetes educator through the Educating Educators Program (2018) and a member of JBI and the Evidence-Based Healthcare Research Centre at the State University of Campinas.
