Ademar Wong

Currently works as a collaborating researcher at the Institute of Chemistry (UNESP, Araraquara). He was a substitute professor at the Federal University of São Carlos and a researcher, and holds a bachelor's degree, master's degree, and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho. He has experience in the field of (bio)sensors and biomimetic sensors based on phthalocyanine and porphyrin complexes, as well as molecularly imprinted polymers (MIP), nanostructured materials (carbon nanotubes, nanodiamonds, graphene, quantum dots, biochar, and carbon black), macrocyclic compounds, ionic liquids, quantum dots, and metallic nanoparticles (copper, gold, iron, nickel, silver, among others). He was listed among the most cited researchers in the worlds most influential scientists ranking in the years 2022, 2023, and 2024, according to the data-update for the "Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators."
