Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Astronomia, Geofísica e Ciências Atmosféricas (IAG)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

A seasoned Software Engineer at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO), I specialize in Astronomical Instrumentation and Operations. Prior to joining NRAO, I served as an Operator at the Gemini-North Observatory (NOIRLab) and led the team's software development efforts. My academic journey includes postdoctoral research at the European Southern Observatory (ESO Chile) and the Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics, and Atmospheric Sciences of the University of São Paulo (IAG-USP). At IAG-USP, I also held the position of Systems Engineer at the Giant Magellan Telescope Brazil Office (GMTBrO), coordinating Brazil's technical involvement in the consortium. I earned my doctorate from IAG-USP (Brazil) and the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (UNS, France) in Stellar Astrophysics. The thesis focused on the study of peculiar hot stars through the application of multiple observational techniques (spectroscopy, polarimetry, optical interferometry) and radiative transfer modeling. Keywords: software engineering -- astronomical instrumentation -- systems engineering -- stellar astrophysics. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
