Birthplace: Brazil

I am a Software and Systems Engineer specializing in astronomical instrumentation and large-scale observatory operations. Currently a Software Engineer at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO), my career includes high-level software development with deep academic research in stellar astrophysics. Previously, I led software development of the operations team of the Gemini Observatory (NOIRLab) and served as Systems Engineer for the Giant Magellan Telescope Brazil Office (GMTBrO), where I coordinated national technical contributions to the global consortium. Grounded by a dual PhD in Stellar Astrophysics from IAG-USP and the University of Nice, alongside postdoctoral tenures at ESO Chile, I combine advanced data techniques -- including radiative transfer modeling, spectroscopy, and optical interferometry --and robust engineering to power current and next-generation astronomical systems. Keywords: software engineering -- astronomical instrumentation -- systems engineering -- stellar astrophysics.
