Postdoctoral Fellow in Social Anthropology at the University of São Paulo (USP) and PhD in Social Anthropology from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp). Holds a Master's degree in Social Anthropology from Unicamp and a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the same institution. Currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in Social History at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).His research focuses on the intersection of the history and theory of anthropology, the history of Indigenous peoples, and the anthropology and history of science. He is a researcher at the Center for Research in Indigenous Ethnology (CPEI) at Unicamp, the Center for Amerindian Studies (CEstA) at USP, and HISTAS - Historiography of Anthropologies at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE).He is part of the Brazilian team of the international research project "HITAL - Histoire transatlantique des Anthropologies d'Amérique Latine", funded by the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS). Previously, he was a researcher in the international project "The global networks of the animal trading companies Reiche and Ruhe - provenance research on the circulation of animals, humans and objects in the 19th and 20th centuries", coordinated by Rebekka Habermas (University of Göttingen) and funded by the German Lost Art Foundation.He is an associate member of the European Association of Social Anthropologists (EASA), the Société Internationale d'Ethnologie et de Folklore (SIEF), and the Brazilian Association of Anthropology (ABA). Additionally, he is a co-founder and currently vice-coordinator of the Decolonial Anthropology Network (DAN), an international research group under EASA. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
