Graduate at Engenharia Mecânica from Universidade de São Paulo (1960), graduate at Administração de Empresas from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas (1972), master's at Food Engineering from University of California Davis (1965) and ph.d. at Food Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1991).He is a Senior Visiting Professor at UFFS, Laranjeiras do Sul, PR, since 2014. After his retirement at FEA/UNICAMP, july 2007, he has been working as a volunteer at ITAL, Campinas and a visiting pprofessor at UNICAMP. He has experience in Food Engineering, focusing on Industrial Installations of Food Production, acting mainly on the following subjects: microwave applications to thermal processes of food and correlates.
