Holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedicine from the University of Franca (2010), a Master's in Sciences (Genetics) from the University of São Paulo (2013), and a Ph.D. in Sciences (Genetics) from the University of São Paulo (2017). Completed a Doctoral Internship at the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) in Trieste, Italy (2016) and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Functional Biology Laboratory at the Hemocenter Foundation of Ribeirão Preto (2018). Currently, he is a professor at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), in the Institute of Tropical Pathology and Public Health (IPTSP). He teaches undergraduate courses at UFG as well as in the Graduate Program in Health Sciences in Western Amazonia (PPGCSAO) at the Federal University of Acre. His research experience encompasses the areas of Mutagenesis, Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology, and Cancer/Pathology, with a focus on the following topics: genotoxicity, cytotoxicity and chemoprevention, gene expression, functional genomics of microRNAs, stem cells, microscopy, oncological pathologies, tumor immunity, and High Content Screening/Analysis, as well as higher education teaching (undergraduate and graduate levels).
