Associate Professor (Full Professor) at the Paulista State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP - Bauru, SP) where he teaches the disciplines of Geology, Paleontology and Fundamentals of Human Sciences. Head of the Laboratory at LAPALMA since 2007 where he carries out his research in Macroinvertebrates Paleontology. He holds a degree in Biological Sciences, Bachelor's degree from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP/Botucatu 1995), a Master's degree in Geosciences (Sedimentary Geology) from the University of São Paulo (USP 1999) and a PhD in Geosciences (Sedimentary Geology) from the University of São Paulo. São Paulo (USP 2004). Graduated in Philosophy from Unifran in 2016. He has a lato sensu postgraduate degree in Thanatology. He is a professor of the graduate course in Biodiversity at Unesp Assis / Bauru where he teaches Taphonomy and Geomorphology as a tool in paleoenvironmental interpretations. He participates as coordinator of the CNPq research group "Palaios" and as a collaborator of the CNPq research groups "Conservation Paleobiology Research Group", "Center for Studies on Public Domain Natural Assets", "Phanerozoic Paleoinvertebrates of South America and Antarctica" and "Paleontology of Mato Grosso". President of the Brazilian Society of Paleontology between 2017 and 2021. Current vice-president of the Brazilian Society of Paleontology. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
